Dead Sea Salt Scrub

Dead Sea Salt has some amazing health and therapeutic properties. That is why we add it to a number of our products such as our bath salts, bath bombs and of course our salt scrubs.

The salt is harvested from the Dead Sea which is a landlocked salt lake next to Israel. Mankind has been using this salt since biblical times and is even referenced in the Book of Solomon.

Fast forward a few thousand years and you can find the salt still widely used for all of its amazing benefits.

Our Dead Sea Salt Scrub’s main component is this very special salt. We then further enhance it with the benefits we get from Pink Himalayan Salt, Epsom Salt, Coconut Oil and Olive Oil. It is then further enriched with Vitamin E oil.

So what is Dead Sea Salt made from?

Magnesium – Magnesium is great for detoxifying and cleansing the epidermis. It promotes cell metabolism, and in turn, helps heal damaged or inflamed skin. Epsom Salt is also great at this!

Calcium – Calcium also promotes skin growth and regeneration, moisture retention through the production of sebum, and stimulates the production of antioxidants.

Sodium – Sodium helps cleanse and exfoliate the skin, neutralises free radicals which can degenerate skin cells, and relieve sore muscles.

Zinc – Zinc also helps heal and rejuvenate skin, ward off acne, and protect the skin’s lipids and fibroblast cells that create collagen.

Potassium – Potassium is great for keeping skin moist and plump, and for reducing puffiness.

Sulphur – Sulphur helps decongest pores. It also has powerful healing, antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial properties.
